Based on Articles 15 and 16 of the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties, we hereby inform youthat Movimiento, Autonomía y Elección S.C., known as Universo Montessori, located at Lib. al Aeropuerto, 23440, San José del Cabo, BCS, is responsible for collecting your personal data, for the use given to it, and for its protection.

The information provided by STUDENTS, PARENTS, OR PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS will be used for the following purposes:

  • Integrate the student's file.
  • Provide the necessary services for the education of your children.
  • To inform you about changes to services.
  • Provide you with the corresponding invoices for the services rendered.
  • To fulfill the obligations we have entered into with you.
  • Control of access to the facilities.
  • Safety and security of individuals within the school premises.

Additionally, we will use your personal information for the following secondary purposes, which enable and facilitate us to provide you with better service:

  • Notify you about new services or products related to those already contracted or about changes to them.
  • Develop studies and programs that are necessary to determine the preference for our services.
  • Conduct periodic evaluations of our services in order to improve quality.
  • Marketing, advertising, or prospecting purposes.

If you do not want your personal data to be processed for these additional purposes, you may submit a request to the Personal Data Department – School Control, using the means mentioned at the end of this Privacy Notice, stating the above.

Refusal to allow your personal data to be used for these purposes will not be grounds for terminating our relationship with you.

PERSONAL DATA THAT WILL BE PROCESSED

For the purposes outlined in this privacy notice, we may collect your personal data in different ways: when you provide it to us directly; when you visit our website or use our online services; and when we obtain information through other sources that are permitted by law.

In order to carry out the aforementioned purposes, we require personal identification, contact, academic, patrimonial, or financial data. It should be noted that in order to comply with point 4 of the secondary purposes of this Privacy Notice, the controller occasionally takes photographs or videos of the Data Subjects. In addition to the personal data mentioned above, for the purposes stated in this privacy notice, we will use the following personal data considered sensitive, which requires special protection: 1) general health status; 2) physical or mental disabilities and illnesses requiring special care; and 3) psychological or psychiatric conditions. The above data will be used exclusively for matters related to the well-being of your children within the school facilities and insofar as their well-being is our responsibility.

We undertake to treat your data under the strictest security measures to ensure its confidentiality. Likewise, your data will be deleted one year after its processing has been completed, without prejudice to any special law in force that provides for a longer period, in which case it will be kept for as long as required by law.

LIMITATION OF USE AND/OR DISCLOSURE OF YOUR DATA AND/OR WITHDRAWAL OF CONSENT FOR ITS PROCESSING

You may revoke your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time, so that we cease to use it; you may also limit the scope, in whole or in part, of the use and/or disclosure of your personal data. To do so, you must submit your request to the Personal Data Department-School Control, using the means mentioned at the end of this Privacy Notice.

It is important to note that we will not always be able to comply with your request or immediately cease using your data, as we may be required by law to continue processing your personal data. You should also bear in mind that, for certain purposes, revoking your consent will meanthatwe willnolonger be able to provide you with the service you requested, or that your relationship with us will be terminated.

We reserve the right to make changes or updates to this privacy notice at any time, in response to new legislation or internal policies. We are committed to keeping you informed of any changes to this privacy notice. Should this occur, it will be published on our website: and you will be sent an email.

CONTROL AND SECURITY OF PERSONAL INFORMATION.

Likewise, Movimiento, Autonomía y Elección S.C. undertakes to take the necessary measures to protect the information collected, using security technologies and control procedures in the access, use, or disclosure of your personal information without authorization, for example, by storing the personal information provided on servers located in Data Centers that have limited access controls. For online requests, we also use security technologies that protect the personal information transmitted to us through various electronic means; however, no security or data transmission system over which the company does not have absolute control and/or which is dependent on the internet can guarantee that it is completely secure.

Similarly, Movimiento, Autonomía y Elección S.C., its employees, representatives, subcontractors, consultants, and/or third parties involved in any phase of the processing of the Data Subject's Personal Data, Sensitive Personal Data, and/or Personal Financial and Asset Data must maintain confidentiality with respect to such data, an obligation that shall remain in effect even after the relationship between the organization and the Data Subject has ended.

ELECTRONIC MEDIA AND COOKIES.

If you use electronic means in relation to your personal data, cookies will be generated in order to provide you with a better service. Cookies are small pieces of information that are sent by the website to your browser.

VIDEO SURVEILLANCE: REMOTE OR LOCAL ELECTRONIC, OPTICAL, OR OTHER TECHNOLOGY COMMUNICATION MEDIA

The images and sounds captured by the video surveillance cameras will be used specifically to control the access and exit of all persons entering the premises, as well as for the security of the facilities. The images captured include institution staff, service providers, visitors, and the general public.

EXERCISE OF ARCO RIGHTS.

It is important to inform you that you have the right to exercise your rights of Access, Rectification, Cancellation, and Opposition of your personal data.
